Thanks to you, Irma will be spending the Holidays in her own home! It is only with your support that we are able to move our homeless neighbors, like Irma, from the streets to our Shelter to their own homes.
Thanks to you, our hungry and homeless neighbors who don’t have any family or anywhere else to turn to will be coming to us and calling our Shelter their “home” for the Holidays. They are depending on us for the support and care that they need on their journey to become housed, and we are depending on you to keep our doors open, lights on, and warm food on the table for them.
Thanks to you, we are able to provide 50 guests with safe shelter nightly, serve 500 warm meals daily, offer 1000 showers weekly, help the homeless look for jobs and apartments, and provide real-world tools in our workshops, which include Financial Literacy, Job & Employment Issues, Computers, Culinary Arts, and Health & Hygiene.
Thanks to you, with a donation of $100, we can serve 50 nutritious meals or teach 35 guests how to use the computer or offer 25 guests the opportunity to learn how to cook for themselves on a budget and gain employable skills to be hired in a restaurant.
